After two decades using LDN in clinical practice (in both oncology and non-oncology patients) some patterns have become apparent. First, LDN is a very safe and effective therapy. Second, the main reason LDN is so effective is due to its action as an immunomodulator. Third, in most patients the prescribing and management of LDN is straightforward. Fourth, when LDN management issues arise there are often underlying immunologic factors at play and understanding that can help in troubleshooting those management issues.
