QUESTION: I had a patient approach my office after reading an article that cited your formulas for Macular Degeneration. We have done 4 IVs with the nutrients listed in the article (2 per week) and the patient has inquired when to expect results. I had to make an educated guess around dosing, and currently have her sitting at 10 g vitamin C, 1500 mg glutathione, 300 mg carnitine, 150 mg taurine, multitrace, B6, B5, Selenium, Zinc, B12 and B complex in myers-like dosages. Can you comment on your personal experience when to expect results, and whether these doses are appropriate? Thanks

ANSWER:Basically my experience is:

  • In dry AMD we do 1-2 IV’s per week for 12-15 IV’s then re-assess.
  • In wet form it is more like 20-24 before re-assessing.
