QUESTION:
WHAT CAN I USE IN IV THERAPY TO HELP SUPPORT THE ADRENALS?
ANSWER:
The big things for an adrenal support IV are:
PRIMARY INGREDIENTS:
- B-5 (as Dexpanthenol) [500-2000 mg]
- Ascorbate [2-5 grams]
- B-3 (as Niacinamide) AND B1 & B-2 [as supplied in 1-2 mL of B-100 Complex]
- B-6 [50-150 mg added to above]
- Magnesium [as tolerated but 500-3000 mg are average doses]
- Methyl support [methyl B12 or HydroxoB12 at 500-2000 mcg]
- Folinic Acid Calcium (CaFolinate) or 5MTHF at 500-1000 mcg]
– ALWAYS FOLLOW WITH A GLUTATHIONE PUSH 1-2 GRAMS
SECONDARY INGREDIENTS
- Taurine 400-500 mg
- Carnitine 500-1000 mg
- Zinc 10-15 mg
- Selenium 200-400 mcg
So if you have a formula that has the primary bases covered, and then many of the secondary covered, you’ll actually effect the adrenals.
