Abstract
Ferroptosis is a relatively new term for a process known to biology for a very long time. It has a better understood pathway and genomic profile than previously understood. In this CME Dr. Anderson will look at the data around this process, what this data adds to our previous knowledge of ‘ferroptosis’ pathways, and how this process may be exploited (or avoided) in disease states. A clinical look at the use of iron to take advantage of ferroptosis and other oxidants (such as artemisinins’, HDIVC, O3 etc.), their appropriateness and uses will be included.
